I use a couple kid's toys as weights for my floating selvage (Pokemon balls I "borrowed" from the kids). They have hooks on them, intended to clip onto belts, so they hang nicely off the back of the warp beam. And since they come apart, I can add as much or as little weight as I need for the project on the loom. Surprisingly it took the original owners years before they realized that their toys had ended up on the back of one of my toys.
