Adding images to your posts
To add an image to your post:
(Note: In order to add an image to your post, you must log in to the site. If you haven't already registered with WeaveZine, you can create a free user account and then use those credentials to log in.)
- Click the image icon
above the main text box. The Image Properties dialog box will appear.
- If you are linking to an image that already appears somewhere on the Internet (such as a image on your blog or Flickr) you can type in the URL of the image you would like to insert.
If the image does not already exist on the Internet, click the Upload tab.

-
Click the Browse button and navigate to the file on your local machine that you would like to upload.
When you have found the file, and its location appears in the Upload textbox, click the Send it to the Server button to upload the file.
-
If the upload is sucessful, the Image Properties dialog will return to the Image Info tab, and display the image you just uploaded. (In this example, the WeaveCast logo.)

Please enter a description of the image in the Alternative Text textbox.
(Note: This descriptive text is used by screen readers for people with impaired vision, and by people browsing with images turned off.)
Please make sure that the image is no wider than 560 pixels. If you have uploaded a wider image, please change the width in the Width textbox. Uploading wider images will break the site formatting and cause your image to display improperly.
The other attributes on this page give you additional control over the formatting of the inserted picture. If you're not familar with them, they can be safely ignored.
