Project Journal of a Newbie

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Hello,

I started weaving about a year and a half ago by taking classes with Pat Bullens at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center.  The classes (and Pat) were fantastic.  The class description says you will begin on a frame loom, but you don't.  I was shocked to see all the floor looms in the studio when I arrived for my first class.  I bought a table-top LeClerc loom last June and have been working on my own ever since.  (With the help of great resources like WeaveZine and the yahoo weaving groups.)

I added a section to my personal webpage to journal about the progress I am making on my weaving projects: http://www.elizabethmather.net - and choose "project journal."  To see my finished projects, follow the link to "weaver."

Thanks!

Hi Elizabeth,

You have a well designed and thought out web site.

Your weaving projects are super. Nice work. I like the blankets done on Double Weave. Somewhere down the line I would like to try the Double Weave.

Take care, Tony
