How to Upload Images

You can now add images to comments and forum posts.  So instead of just telling us about that great thing you've woven, you can show us!

The first step is clicking the image button in the editor.

When you do this, the Image Properties dialog appears.  Click the Upload tab, then click the Browse button and locate the image you want to upload on your local machine. 

Click the "Send it to the Server" button to upload your image to the server.  Once that's done, the Image Properties dialog will detect and display information about the image. 

You can use the Align drop-down box to determine whether the image is inserted into your post inline with text, or to the left or right of the text.

Click OK.

That's it!  Your image will now be displayed in the editor with the rest of your post. 

Note: Please limit image file sizes to 80KB or less, and limit dimensions to 560 wide x 600 long.  We want to make sure that everyone's got room to post pictures of their weaving on the site.

Note: Currently any user, regardless of whether they are logged in or not, can post images to the site.  Please be respectful and avoid posting inappropriate or copyrighted images.
