My name is Susan and I have been weaving just over two years. I had a wonderful teacher - Margaret Russell. After a few lessons I was hooked and Margaret helped me buy a loom - a Tools of the Trade 32" floor loom. Now I am into spinning! I took my first and only lesson a couple of months ago and am trying out wheels before purchasing.

Missed you at the guild meeting

Susan - we missed you at the guild meeting last week. Kathie gave a great presentation. Here's a quick snapshot of the Jacob I'm spinning for my rare breed sheep experiment. It's nice and fluffy, but not particularly soft. Melissa

Your blog is beautiful, Susan!  That "Your Blog is Fabulous" award was clearly well deserved. :)  Doesn't it just feel great to get those? 

 

I've subscribed in Google Reader now and will be back often, I'm sure.  (Still haven't figured out how to "follow" non-Blogger blogs - maybe that's just a Blogger thing?)
