Lovely Episode

It felt like you were talking directly to me (grin)

summer and winter

Hi Syne,

While I have 24 shafts to play with, I've warped my loom using 8 shafts only for summer and winter to weave words into my scarves. Refer to Handwoven issue September/October 2003, p.40 for Sheila O'Hara's "tea" towels.I used her draft and simply change the letters in my computer software liftplan. So far, I've woven my name (Jean) in a scarf, my sister's initials (RFH) in another and plan to weave my son's name (Brad) and frame it for him. It works for me! Jean S.

Sheep shearing photos

Hi Syne,

Recently I've gone back to your previous Weavecast podcasts and listened to all of them again.  I've really enjoyed all of them but I've gotten so much more out of them the second time through.  One of my favorites is Episode 2 but I can't find the sheep-shearing photos.  Can you make them available again?

Also, Pixar has a cute video about a sheep I think it's called "Bounding."

It's available on iTunes.  Check it out if you get a chance.
