How to make a temporary small shuttle when you don't have enough for all the colours you want to use: recycle clear stiff plastic packaging by folding the box/tube over flat. Cut out a simple shuttle shape (oblong with a half circle cut out on both of the short sides), starting at a folded edge.  Then use some clear tape over the open cut edges if required. Wind on your weft yarn with loose tension.
