Dear Syne,
I just discovered your website/podcast. I am a new weaver and this is a very exciting find. I look foward to listening to the rest of your weaving podcasts. WeVon, Kim
You make me laugh
Syne:
Someone in my guild mentioned your podcasts and after a horrendous mess with a warp tonight I came in and decided I should start listening to you because I really wanted to be weaving but can't get the damn warp on.
I have been weaving for 30 years and after a chenille disaster 15 years ago swore never to touch the stuff again, but then there was some cheap chenille at a sale and so I made a cute little scarf that I love wearing so I thought I'd buy a lot of chenille and try to sell scarves and my first warp is 8 yards and I thought I'd just tie on to a lovely undulating twill rather than resley...... and for some reason all the chenille decided to wrap around itself and I can't get any tension and I have this big clumps of tangled warp that I can't do anything with.... I'm one of those "I don't really have to pay attn to the rules" kind of weavers anyhow, so your podcast made me laugh and laugh. The iming could not have been better.
I don't know WHAT I'll do tomorrow, but I'll do something.

However, materials used to
However, materials used to make Watches Fake are worthwhile. They do not appear inferior to the original watch either in grandeur or longevity. Longines Watches UK on the other hand belong to a category which at best can be called cheap and unworthy. They never give you your desired level of satisfaction. A Fake Rolex Watches is never an exact replacement of a designer or branded watch.
Yes, warping a loom is
Yes, warping a loom is probably not the most enjoyable part of bead or tapestry weaving. It takes a bit of concentration and a few repetitive motions, but it is not beyond anyone's reach. Once you have decided what you are warping for (Tapestry with the shedding device? Bead weaving without?), what spring size to use (which determines how close together your warps are) and how big you want your piece to be, you're all set to begin.
Thanks!
There are not a lot of podcast for handweavers and I appreciate that you put up this site. Weaving is a great way to release stress. I am not yet a pro at weaving but I am learning pretty well.
